These cultures can sometimes lead to friction. It is up to you as a coach to solve problems between employees and to make sure that all employees remain motivated.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> <\/div><div class=\"grve-background-wrapper\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"grve-section grve-light\" data-section-title=\"\" data-section-type=\"fullwidth-background\" data-image-type=\"none\" data-full-height=\"no\"  style=\"background-color:#3b58a4;color:#ffffff;padding-top: 50px;padding-bottom: 50px;\"><div class=\"grve-row grve-bookmark\"><div class=\"wpb_column grve-column grve-bookmark grve-column-1-2\"><h3 class=\"grve-element grve-align-left grve-title-line grve-h3\" style=\"\"><span>Manager becomes Coach!<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"grve-element grve-text\"><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Leading through coaching rather than the old-fashioned 'managing' proves to work much better, in a workplace with employees from different cultural backgrounds, this is perhaps even more important.<br \/>\nAs a coach, take a look at the views of your employees from their perspective, step into the shoes of your employee and discover why they look at certain things differently.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column grve-column grve-bookmark grve-column-1-2\"><h3 class=\"grve-element grve-align-left grve-title-line grve-h3\" style=\"\"><span>Avoid 'yes but 'discussion<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"grve-element grve-text\"><p>In order to avoid problems that are related to the cultural background of the persons involved, it is important to make clear agreements that are strictly enforced. Otherwise you run the risk of getting bogged down in 'Yes but' discussions. Make clear agreements so that lengthy discussions become impossible. A code of conduct can help here, hand it over to every employee on day one.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> <\/div><div class=\"grve-background-wrapper\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"grve-section\" data-section-title=\"\" data-section-type=\"fullwidth-background\" data-image-type=\"none\" data-full-height=\"no\"  style=\"padding-top: 50px;padding-bottom: 50px;\"><div class=\"grve-row grve-bookmark\"><div class=\"wpb_column grve-column grve-bookmark grve-column-1-2\"><h2 style=\"text-align: left\" class=\"vc_custom_heading\" >\"Doesn't your company have a code of conduct? Then set it up for your own department!\"<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column grve-column grve-bookmark grve-column-1-2\"><h3 class=\"grve-element grve-align-left grve-title-line grve-h3\" style=\"\"><span>Be creative!<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"grve-element grve-text\"><p>Collaborating with immigrant employees is an excellent opportunity to break through the daily grind and gain new experiences.
